I graduated from West Point High School in 1973 in West Point, MS
I graduated from Mississippi State University in 1977 and 1979 in Starkville, MS
I have a Master’s Degree in Food Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Mississippi State University.
I have my teaching certificate in Life Sciences.
I have been teaching in the Brownfield ISD district for 13 years.
The first seven years I taught Biology, IPC, and Environmental Science at Brownfield High School.
The last six years I taught Biology, IPC, Environmental Science, Chemistry, and Food Science at Brownfield Eduction Center. I have also managed the computer lab by helping students with other various courses.
Previous to my teaching career at BISD, I was working in the food industry in various management positions in research and development, quality control, and technical services. I like to relate my food industry experiences to the classroom by showing students how and why science is valuable and applicable to industry and real life.
I am married, have two grown sons and two dogs.
I enjoy hunting, fishing, and BBQ.
